Intro to Part Two & Chapter 3

When I started reading about the empires and so on, I was very confuse due to that fact that I had heard different things in high school about this. What stuck with me the most was the fact that Persia was embroilment with the greeks. The Persians in taking over Lydia had come into contact with the greeks colonies in Asia Minor. I would honestly like to know more of how they got into power. Sorry this is so unorganized, it was really confusing to get all my thoughts together! Thank You for reading! :)
